Meet the Staff, gallery two

Our staff of dedicated individuals and families serve in a variety of ways in the ministry of The Inn. Some have been here for over thirty years while others have newly become part of the family. Because of our numerous roles, it's a little difficult to come up with actual job titles. (You know, a little like life.)

David and Sarah Mathis, Aida and Ezra

House and Grounds Maintenance, Communications and Housekeeping

David and Sarah met here in 2003 while they were serving as interns during the Heroes program. After finishing that summer they knew that they would come back someday to serve in the ministry. The Lord called them back in February 2008.

They both help in the day to day routines of what it takes to maintain the property at the Inn. They have a wide range of personal interests with Sarah's passion for the arts and David as an active animal lover including his pet fish. Together they both enjoy the outdoor activities that lend to this smoky mountain region including hiking, camping and white water rafting.
